I'm going to 7th grade, I turned just turned 13, is it hard?

I heard things about the grade. Some people call it the worst year of my life. Also, there's this kid who says he's my best-est best friend. I hate him though. He's in denial though >:( But if I go extreme, he'll move his big, annoying, bad breath (literally) mouth, and blabber to me and everyone else. And I also heard the 7th graders had to take showers, any advice? Are there big tests at the end of the year like 8th graders have? Oh, and the kid I hate, I want to start fresh, but if I deny him, he'll tell everything bad I did last year, like the little a**hole he is. He cr*ps his pants, and he doesn't deny it. He farts too much to make everyone mad, smells awful. Boys have a right to be disgusting, but this kid takes it way to far. So anyway, 7th grade. Can you give me some tips, tricks, best locks to buy, organization skills tips, etc. Thanks, and this is the last question that will feature the annoying boy.
