How difficult is it to keep a small herb garden?

I cook a lot and use a lot of fresh herbs, but they're so expensive! So I was thinking of growing a small herb garden of mint, thyme, Rosemary and maybe a few others... Dylan, U$2,500 seems a little steep for hotel + flight. Air travel to Brazil is quite expensive, however the hotels in our “nordeste” you can def. get a good deal. Fortaleza is awesome, but depending on the purpose of your trip I recommend some of the neighboring beaches like Cumbuco or Jericoacoara (which is one of the most beautiful beaches in Brazil!). There you can get hotels for like R$120 a night, which in today’s rate exchange is like U$75 a night. For two weeks that would be U$525 per person. These good deal hotels normally wont have a kitchen, they are simpler and called “pousadas”, look for this name when searching. They do include breakfast however, but I recommend looking for the local food restaurants with “picanha” or “feijoada” which are excellent (and cheap) local meals. How to deal with my horrible mother?

So my mother complains all the time that she does not have anyone to take care of her and pamper atleast one whole day (since my parents are divorced she gets very lonely). So I decided to cook for her and give her a break from the kitchen for today and start cooking. To be honest I hate the kitchen and I hate to cook but I somehow bring myself to do it. So I start...and since I dont cook too often I happen to take longer than what she would take to cook the same thing..Obviously. So just when I'm about done, she yells from the bedroom (where is is just lazing around) if I'm planning on providing her with breakfast or dinner because I'm taking so long! I'm like I'm done, here it is. She is so unhappy and starts eating and complaining about how long I took to make it and how I am so slow and how I still have to learn to do things right and how I'm incapable of providing her a happy breakfast etc...etc. At this point my blood is boiling....On top of making her breakfast and trying to do something nice, this ***** wants to complain on how I could not do it according to her standards! I just want to scream and say SCREW YOU *****, YOU DESERVE NOTHING! But instead I control my temper and tell her to stop nagging for which she explodes like a latent volcano and starts yelling at me and throwing stuff and acting like a psychotic poodle! I try to reason with her and tell her to calm down and she slaps me!!!!!!! At this point I lose my temper and start yelling too (I really wanted to slap her back but obviously I can't slap my mom). She tells me I'm a ***** and needs to be treated like one and she will make sure she will put me in my place blah blah...She says this was the reason my dad does not like me. WOW. I mean really?? Anorexia or crash diet?

okay so im 13, 5'4 115 lb. i have bad eating habits and i was wandering if its just a crash diet or like anorexia. so days that my parents arnt home and stuff i usually dont eat anything at all. just water or 0 calorie drinks. when my mom cooks dinner i just say i already ate and im not hungry. but when we go out to dinner like at a restaurant i usually eat a normal amount. because i dont want my parents thinking im not eating enough. and then just try to burn as much as i can off by running down our street or doing exercise videos. i am very insecure with the way i look...i always feel fatter then everyone else. even though i weight the same as most of my friends. if i eat anything i will start to freek out and ill just start running around to try and burn it off. losing weight is like on my mind 24/7. i also have an anxiety problem. so some nites i dont even sleep because im freeking out about how i look. i havnt really lost any weight.....but ive only been doing this for about 2 weeks. and when it comes to how many calories i eat in a day...every day is different. it could be 0 one day and 800 the next. i obsess about calories alot....if the box even says 0 on it, ill go back and check at least 4 times....i dont know why i do that though. and the longest ive gone without eating anything was 2 days i think. so ya i was just wondering if you guys think its just a regular crash diet or an eating disorder. i know im not underweight, so thats why i wasnt sure. (&when i dont eat for 2 days i usually go down to about 110lb). any answers would be a big help(:

I don't know if it's because I'm a woman, I don't know if it's because of the cultural differences, but someone please answer this one for me. My "fiance" has really been pissing me off. For example, he is mexican, i am american. I have a license, him and his buddies and his mother do NOT. So I had a full time job, ok pay, he asks me to leave my job so I can taxi around his family and friends, with this promise that I can make alot of money and help them out at the same time. At first I was very skeptical, but I said okay due to the fact that I could relax and home and cook and clean more and have more free time. Plus that would mean he would be taking care of everything financially. I finally agreed(because at first I told him no, he begged). The reason why he wanted this was because they're passing this stupid immigration law and he's worried for his friends and family, and the agreement was that they'd be paying me. But as you can imagine, things got tight with the money income change. Ok, I was okay with that, you make sacrifices for the ones you love, got it. BUT THEN his freakin mother hasn't even paid "on her own" till this day! I drive a gas gussling car, I'm not even making a profit here. I drive his mother and her two friends to work every day. About ten miles to get there at FREAKIN 7 am in the damn morning and then I pick them up at 4pm in the afternoon. Thats twenty miles. Then on top of that she asked me to take her son to school and then pick him up in the afternoon too, another 5 miles. Then I have to take my fiance to his friends house everyday at 5am as well so that they can drive to work (he works an hour away). The friend lives about 15 miles away. As you can imagine, making all these trips and BACK every damn day in a car that isn't great with gas isn't good for the gas tank, especially with this ridiculously rising gas prices, and this is on the daily! I supposedly get paid every WEEK! My problem is the mother doesn't pay and everyday I'm stressin out because we don't have gas in the damn car and I can't do wtf I need to do because I'm so busy over extending myself and bending over backwards for these people, WHEN SHE AINT PAYIN. My fiance has to go ask for money, he calls it "borrowing" and im like dude she owes us more than, go ask her for the money that she owes for me taking her to work, and taking her son to school! His response goes a little something like this, "I don't want to ask her for money, besides, that was YOUR GUYS'S deal, not mine, you go ask her for the money." And her refused to do it. I'm so freakin pissed off it's not even funny. Then he gets an attitude like I've done something wrong! well have I?! I've been nothing but nice up until this point but I'm about to snap! This time she asked us to borrow 20$ I only let her because it was my fiance little brother's Bday. I lent her money I really didn't have and she still hasn't paid for her taxi fair or paid for her son's fair or paid me the 20$ back and I'm to to point where I'm not taking anybody any ****** where and going back to WORK!

Dog does not eat by his own?

I have a male Cocker spaniel, he is 1.4 years old. For first 6-8 month I feed him with my hands as everybody does. Then I started with keep food in bowl. Help!! I feel hungry and nauseous after eating?

Okay, I am 23 years old and am about 80 pounds over weight. I'm constantly trying to loose weight..and I always feel like its a struggle. Sometimes i'll loose and then sometimes I don't. I am not sure what is wrong with me. This is a pretty random thing.. i'll eat and about an hour or so after eating i get this starving/nauseous feeling. Like i haven't eaten in days... Its a random thing, but it happens alot. I can't tell what is causing it. And i don't think it is what I am eating, because i've noticed it happen after eating fast food...home cooked meals.. dairy.. fruits..veggies etc.. i can't narrow anything down in particular. 95% of the time i'm trying to eat healthy anyway.. to loose weight. and i do eat 3-4 meals a day. Hi, so I have tried asking this on 3 other forums (WebMD, a pregnancy one, and ehealth) and NO ONE will even answer. I don't have any one to talk to because I just moved 600miles away from home....I am possibly just worrying too much and my boyfriend has gotten this into my head of being pregnant. I am 20, and living with my boyfriend. I have been on Gianvi (Yaz generic) for 2 months now. We are sexually active, and don't use a back up method of birth control. I know, not the smartest, but we also wouldn't mind having a baby if it happens. For 2 weeks now I am nauseated every time I try to eat, so I'm ALWAYS hungry but at the same time I eat a few bites and feel like I stuffed myself. Every night starting around 8pm it gets worse and as the later it gets, especially worse when I try to go to sleep, but have not actually thrown up. Sorry for this bit of info, but I have had to pee a lot, been a little constipated and very gassy (sorry!) We eat the same as we always have. I cook and we never eat fast food. Starting yesterday it is tender and hurts around my nipples, and my veins are more pronounced. I am also pretty moody. I don't know my ovulation days because my pills messed me up and I had a 6 day period, 2 days off, and another 4 day period. I am expecting the next within a week or so, so I can't really test yet. I didn't have any of these issues in my first month of using the pill, so why would it just now set in? My boyfriend isn't mad if I am....he is actually very excited and supportive. The main reason I am even on the pill is because my PMDD causes horrible cramps and irregular cycle, so this is to help with those things. My mom started getting sick the day after she conceived me, so early signs wouldn't be unusual.

Problems with my moms boyfriend?

Okay so my moms boyfriend moved in with us about a month ago. Im 14, so I still have to live with my mom... Anyways everything was fine until he started cooking dinner for us all the time, and he would always make the oven messy and he would never wash out the food in the dish before he put it in the sink. One of my jobs is to clean the kitchen every night and wash the dishes. I asked my whole family if they would please rinse out there dishes because it makes my job a whole lot easier and quicker. The dishes still always had food in them, so I specifically asked him to rinse out his dishes, so the drainer would catch it and he told me " I cant rinse them out and cook at the same time." Im getting so tired of wasteing 10 minutes just washing food out of dishes that he cant take 5 seconds to do himself. And also spending 5 minutes washing the oven and the counter. I mean I dont except them to be crystal clear when I wash them, because part of the job is to actually wash the dishes.. But he doesnt get that it would help a lot if he did it, and I have other stuff I have to do also so it takes up an hour of my night... My mom told me to just ask him if he would but I did, 3 times, and I even put up a sign, to remind him. Also, im not the only one fed up with his sloppy ways. Im tired of having to clean everthing, just to have him dirty it up the next day. So does anyone know how I can ask him to wash out his dishes and simply clean up after himself?

But with the way footballs going, the players are costing more and more so probably �20m is going to be the norm for a player of Parkers standard in about 3-5 years time. But in my opinion he is worth around 8-12m. James Milner is probably Aston Villas best player and they will want to keep him at the club. But you cant keep a player who doesn't want to stay. Why are SAHM's so judgemental of working moms?

Im starting off by saying not all SAHM'S are, but lately I swear I am getting into it with every SAHM I meet! Im told that I have it easier cause I work and go to school and don't stay at home all day. That SAM'S have it harder cause they are a nurse, psychologist, cook etc. Just because I work and have s hool does not mean when I get home I don't cook, clean or take care of my baby. All good moms take care of their kids regardless if they work or not. Sorry, but being a SAHM does not make you a licensed RN, a trained chief etc. You are just a SAHM, just like I am a working mom. I chose to do school because I need to be able to support my family if something happens to my husband. Once I finish school I will likely only work part time to spend more time at home with my kids. It just makes me so mad when SAHM s say their job is harder. It is SO hard being away from my daughter at work. I think about her constantly. Being at home with your child takes that ache away. That in itself makes your job a bit easier. Not easy, just easier. I should add I know what it is like staying at home. I did no for 4 months with my daughter.
