Do you think that dying for your country (in a war) is something glorious?

Is it glorious to die for ones country? Well most people would prefer living to dying. Like others have stated, the point of war is not to die for your country, but make that other poor bastard die for his. Now many people join the military in order to protect their country, but most soldiers would be more willing to sacrifice their life to protect the man next to them, to protect their brothers in the foxhole with them.
